ABOUT ME

Jarrod Johnson

Chef, Organic Farmer, Food Blogger.

Jarrod is a classically trained chef that decided to leave the world of restaurants behind to embark on his journey as a personal chef. He received his degree in culinary arts from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. After receiving his degree he worked for a James Beard award-winning chef, was a Sous chef at a private city club, and ran a restaurant kitchen as an executive chef before opening Viking in a Chef Coat. His culinary passion is fresh, local ingredients, wine and cheese tastings, and artisan tasting menus.
